The Editor’s Challenge to raise money for the Stevenson quintuplets for the family to finish their home, is nearing the $2,700 mark, which is absolutely amazing.

Although the donations have been coming slower than we here at the Patriot would necessarily like, readers are still stepping up to help make the Stevensons’ dream a reality.

Pages Books will host a fund-raiser for the quints Feb. 23. Proceeds from the day’s book sales will go towards the Quint Foundation. Books make for great birthday presents, and they’re gifts that do truly keep on giving, so mark your calendar and buy at least one book that day.

This week’s donors are:

• $5 Anonymous

• $100 Anonymous

• $50 Anonymous

• $25 Anonymous

Total for week ending Feb. 14: $180, Running total: $2,670.

Checks should be made to the Quint Foundation and can be dropped off at any branch of Kitsap Credit Union or Westsound Bank. For more information on the quints, visit www.stevensonquints.com.
