This past week was a great one for Mike and Courtnee Stevenson and their brood of six children as part of the Editor’s Challenge.

Although the donations have been coming slower than we here at the Patriot would necessarily like, readers are still stepping up to help make the Stevensons’ dream a reality.

Pages Books in Silverdale brought in a whopping $809.84 from the proceeds of last Saturday’s book sale. Thanks to everyone who made it a point to buy a book to support the quints.

Today Jamie Breckel is hosting a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 704 Pearl St. in Bremerton to raise money for the quints. For information or directions, call (360) 373-2834 or (360) 377-9665.

This week’s donors are:

• $809.84 Pages Books fund-raiser

• $20 Anonymous

• $100 Laurie Constantino

Total for week ending Feb. 28: $929.84, Running total: $4,389.84

Checks should be made to the Quint Foundation and can be dropped off at any branch of Kitsap Credit Union or Westsound Bank.

For more information on the quints, visit www.stevensonquints.com.
