BUSINESS BRIEFS Peninsulas’ 211 receives award

Peninsulas’ 211 has been selected for the 2008 Best of Bremerton award in the Information & Referral Services category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
Peninsulas’ 211, formerly United Way InfoLink, provides comprehensive information and referral services for Kitsap, Clallam, Jefferson, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pacific counties. Supported by Kitsap, Clallam, Mason, Grays Harbor United Way organizations and Jefferson County Good Neighbors Fund, 211 provides residents needed health and human services information. The call center is located at Kitsap Mental Health and is a partnership with it’s Crisis Clinic. It is one of six call centers that provide information and referral services throughout Washington state.
The USLBA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country.
Kydd, Fulcher promoted
Ashley Gardens of Bremerton, an Alzheimer’s and dementia care community, promoted Elizabeth Kydd to business office manager. She was previously employed as the dietary manager.
Kydd will oversee the human resources, accounts payable, accounts receivable and managerial duties for Ashley Gardens.
Samantha Fulcher also was recently promoted to food service director at Ashley Gardens. She will oversee the dietary needs of community residents.
