The city of Bremerton celebrated Arbor Day April 8 with a special tree planting.  City officials, with help from Sheridan Park preschoolers, planted a Crimson Century Maple at Sheridan Park Community Center. City Council President Cecil McConnell read a proclamation and accepted an award on behalf of the city as a Tree City USA. This is the 14th year the city of Bremerton has received the award. -
