‘Eggs & Issues’ candidate forums announced

The Bremerton Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced the “Eggs & Issues” candidate and issue forums schedule.

The forums are held at 7:30 a.m. every Tuesday from July 7 through Aug. 11, then resume Sept. 15 through Oct. 20. The event is held at the Cloverleaf Sports Bar & Grill, located at 1240 Hollis St. in Bremerton.

“Eggs & Issues” forums are open to the public and use of recording devices without prior permission from the Chamber is prohibited. A no-host breakfast is available from the restaurant and reservations are not required.

The schedule is as follows:

• July 7: Bremerton mayor (special 1 1/2-hour program)

Daryl Daugs, Carlos Jara, Patty Lent, Will Maupin and Mike Shepherd

• July 14: Bremerton City Council, District No. 7

Carol Arends and Gentry Lange

• July 21: Port of Bremerton Commissioner, District No. 1

Gene Hart, Lynn Horton and Rogere Zabinski

• July 28: Bremerton School District, Position No. 1

Cynthia Large, Christianne Martin, Scott Rahm and J. David Rubie

• Aug. 4: Bremerton School District, Position No. 4

David Boynton, Cynthia Galloway and Bruce Woolnough

• Aug. 11: Bremerton School District, Position No. 5

Ruben Garcia, Carolynn Perkins and Kent Watkins

• Aug. 18: Primary Election Day

Eggs & Issues resumes Sept. 15

• Sept. 15: Bremerton Municipal Court Judge
