Hansville’s Oktoberfest will bring on the brew
September 24, 2010 · 12:52 PM
Back by popular demand, the Greater Hansville Community Center will host a good, old-fashioned Oktoberfest fundraising party.
The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Community Center at Buck Lake Park. Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. and go until about 9 p.m.
The six-piece White Potato Band will feature German-style Oktoberfest music and Silver City Brewing Company will provide a special selection of their award-winning brews. A variety of sausages and other Bavarian food will be served.
Tickets are $15 in advance at the Hansville Grocery and Hansville Auto Repair or $16 at the door. Space is limited so only 100 tickets are available. Food, beverages and the entertainment is included. All net proceeds will go toward the operation and maintenance of the community owned center facilities.
