Olympic High School will be holding an event to educate students and community members about female bullying on Wed. Nov. 7.

During school hours there will be a special assembly from 9:20 to 11:00 a.m. for all female students. The film "Finding Kind" will be screened at the assembly. The ASB will also be hosting a seminar and separate screening of the film for community members on Wed. from 6 to 8 p.m.

Lauren Parsekian and Molly Thompson, who met while attending Pepperdine University, created "Finding Kind" by traveling across the country interviewing young girls, women and experts in fields such as psychology and education.

The filmmakers hoped to "take these experiences and find a common ground of kindness and mutual respect," according to the film's website. "Finding Kind" was an an official selection to the Seattle International Film Festival, as well as receiving other awards and recognition.
