WSP trooper rescues injured bald eagle from SR 3

Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Travis Snider rescued an injured male bald eagle from State Route 3 at Finn Hill in Poulsbo Friday morning, June 12. The eagle swooped down to retrieve road kill and was struck by an SUV. He suffered a broken wing and leg. The eagle did not survive its injuries.
