The nine-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 will be marked Saturday in Bremerton with the display of wreckage from the World Trade Center and a ceremony.

The remembrance takes place at noon at Evergreen Rotary Park, 1400 Park Ave., although the steel beams ultimately intended to be featured in a Central Kitsap memorial to those who died in the attacks will arrive at 11 a.m. The beams will be on display until 2 p.m.

A barbecue and live music will follow the ceremony.
