Thief steals beef jerky from delivery truck

A delivery truck driver reported the theft of 50 cases of beef jerky Nov. 1 after leaving his truck in Bremerton for three days.

The truck driver from Gig Harbor reported the theft to Bremerton police at 5:38 a.m., saying that someone broke the lock off the back of his delivery truck sometime between 6 p.m. Oct. 29 and 5:30 a.m. Nov. 1 in the 4900 block of Auto Center Boulevard, according to police reports. The value of the stolen beef jerky is $1,000.

There was no suspect information.
