About 61 East Bremerton residents awoke Sunday morning to slashed tires on one or more of their vehicles.

All of the victims who reported slashed tires to the Kitsap County Sheriff's office live in residential neighborhoods along the Wheaton Way corridor, sheriff's spokesman Scott Wilson said.

The unknown suspects cut 107 tires on 75 vehicles - some people had multiple vehicles vandalized.

Wilson said numbers released earlier were incorrect.

The slashings happened between about 10 or 11 p.m. Saturday and dawn Sunday morning, Wilson said.

An employee at the Bremerton Police Department said Monday there were no reports of slashed tires in Bremerton city limits.

There is no suspect information.
