Bremerton man robbed of PlayStation in Union Hill

A 20-year-old Bremerton man reported being robbed in an alley near Burwell Street and Hewitt Avenue Dec. 3 by an unknown man who took his PlayStation 3.

The man told police at about 6:50 p.m. that he had just bought a PlayStation 3 that afternoon at the East Bremerton Fred Meyer and took the bus down to the area of the Warren Avenue Burger King, according to police reports.

In a Union Hill alley north of Burwell Street, a black man he had seen on the bus told him he dropped a receipt, the 20-year-old told police. After the 20-year-old picked up the receipt, the suspect punched him several times on the right side of his face and hit him in the back of his head. The suspect grabbed the bag with the PlayStation and ran southeast toward Burwell Street.

The 20-year-old had redness on both cheeks, according to reports. He paid $325.79 for the PlayStation. There is no suspect information.
