Bremerton police were still seeking an armed robbery suspect Tuesday after a man showed his gun at a Wheaton Way Walgreens Saturday and took an unknown amount of money from the cash register.

At about 7 p.m. Saturday, a black man of medium build between 20 and 30 years old went to the register at the Walgreens, located at the corner of Sylvan Way and Wheaton Way, to buy a pack of gum, Bremerton detective Sergeant Kevin Crane said.

The man showed a handgun and told the clerk to back up. He took money from the till and left on foot. Police searches for the man came up empty.

Detectives are reviewing security video footage and seeking witnesses, Crane said.
