Bremerton woman stabs friend over pizza

A 44-year-old Bremerton woman was arrested Dec. 22 after stabbing a friend in the back with a knife during a fight about pizza.
Police were called to reports of a knife assault at 6:51 p.m. in the 800 block of Cogean Avenue. The 54-year-old man who called 911 answered the door, saying the 44-year-old woman standing behind him stabbed him, according to Bremerton police reports. The woman was detained and "smelled heavily of intoxicants."
The man said the woman came to his house to play cards and eat pizza and stabbed him when she got upset about the pizza. He had a "small puncture wound" in a shoulder blade and was bandaged by medics. He told police the woman was "high and drunk."
The woman was taken to Kitsap County jail for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon.
