A Fort Lewis man was robbed at knifepoint Saturday after meeting a Bremerton woman on an internet dating site.

The 22-year-old Fort Lewis man had began communicating with the 28-year-old Bremerton woman three days earlier online and got together with her at a Tacoma Casino at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Bremerton police reports. The two later left for Bremerton with the intention of spending the night at a hotel. The man withdrew $100 at an ATM before the two eventually drove to the Sixth Street 7-Eleven. When they arrived, the woman showed a knife, ordered the man to give her his money and leave the car. He gave her $80 and left the vehicle.

Police found the woman at her Bloomington Avenue address and took her to the Kitsap County jail for investigation of first-degree robbery.
