A juvenile girl from Arkansas was arrested for dealing methamphetamine Monday in Bremerton after a 911 caller reported she had a pistol.

A 911 caller reported at 4:09 a.m. that a girl offered to sell drugs to her underage brother, who told her she had a “Glock,” according to Bremerton police reports.

Police officers found the girl walking up the steps from the Callow Avenue Safeway to Montgomery Avenue. No weapons were found, but a search of her backpack yielded several needles, small packages of meth, numerous “pieces of paraphernalia” and more than $418 cash.

The girl is a runaway from Arkansas whose birth mother lives in Bremerton. She ran away from her foster home and is homeless.

She was taken to juvenile detention for investigation of selling meth. Officers later found one gram of marijuana in her bag and forwarded charges of marijuana possession to the prosecutor’s office.
