A Bremerton woman reported being threatened with a gun March 24 by a man to whom she had sold a vehicle.

On March 22, the 38-year-old woman told police a 37-year-old man failed to pay her for a vehicle she sold him and suspected his “associates” were selling drugs from the vehicle, according to police reports.

Two days later, the woman told police the man confronted her in the Kitsap Way QFC parking lot at 2 a.m. and said, “If you want your car, go get it.” She walked into the store and the man was gone when she returned to her car. When she drove to a friend’s house, the man was there and pointed a hand gun to her face, saying, “You ever talk to the police, I’ll kill you right where you stand. They don’t call me ‘Dirty Dan’ for nothing.” The woman stood in place until the man left.

There were no witnesses to the incident. The report was forwarded to detectives.
