A 39-year-old Port Orchard woman hit a Bremerton motorcyclist after attempting to pull over for a police officer May 16. The man was transported to Harrison Medical Center.

The woman made a lane change to the right at 11th Street and Hewitt Avenue in Bremerton at about 2:40 p.m. after a Bremerton police officer pulled her over for expired tabs.

She did not signal or look when she changed lanes and said she was surprised that she hit the 63-year-old, according to reports.

The woman was charged with unsafe lane change, according to a report from the Washington State Patrol.
