Trader Joe's in Silverdale to open June 17

The Silverdale Trader Joe's, which moved into the old Circuit City building, will open June 17.

The store, at 9991 Mickelberry Road, will officially open its doors for business at 8 a.m. Friday, June 17, according to a statement from the company.

The boutique grocery store will offer domestic and imported foods and beverages in the overhauled 13,300 square-foot-building.

The Silverdale Trader Joe's will be the only location on the Olympic Peninsula, the other closest locations being in Tacoma, Olympia and Seattle.

Trader Joe's has more than 350 stores in 29 states.
