Bremerton woman suspects annoyed neighbor stole basketball hoop
June 3, 2011 · Updated 1:56 PM
A 32-year-old Bremerton woman reported her outdoor basketball hoop was stolen from her residence May 20, and she suspects a neighbor who complained about the sound of people playing at the hoop.
Police responded to the 2500 block of Fir Avenue to interview the woman, who said she had heard the man stole the hoop because he didn't like people playing basketball at night. She suspected the hoop was in the man's garage. She said the suspect was at work and that she would call police once he returned.
