Sex offender registers at new location in Bremerton

A level III sex offender convicted of sexually assaulting a minor is moving to a new residence in Bremerton.

Terry Lee Bump, 58, has registered to live on the 1500 block of Bertha Avenue, according to a statement from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. Bump previously lived on the 1100 block of Naval Avenue.

Bump was convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor and second-degree assault with sexual motivation in 1995. The convictions stemmed from Bump sexually assaulting a juvenile female over a six-year period by drugging the victim.

There are about 880 registered sex offenders living in Kitsap County.
