A 28-year-old U.S. Navy personnel working at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton and staying at Quality Inn and Suites, had his room ransacked June 16 and was robbed of several items — including a pair of knock-off Adidas shoes.
The 28-year-old man, originally from California, reported the incident at 6:55 p.m. and said the theft occurred sometime in the last few hours when he returned to the room of the hotel located on Kitsap Way. Police observed signs of forced entry as the knob of the deadbolt lock to the front door was on the floor. There were clothes and other items strewn across the room and items including a camcorder, jewelry, inhaler medication and the shoes were stolen. The cost of the missing items are valued at about $375. There are no suspects.
