As part of the City of Bremerton/Bremerton Central Lions Club exchange student program, a family is needed to a host a 17-year-old girl from Kure, Japan. She will stay with the family for four weeks beginning July 26. The Kitsap family does not have to live in Bremerton. The student has been studying English and the program will give the family a chance to share their culture with someone else. There are no costs  to the family other than providing meals, lodging and the incidental expenses of having another member in the family.

This is the 42nd year of the student exchange program with Bremerton’s sister city in Japan. For more information, contact Elaine Valencia in the Mayor’s Office at (360) 473-5266.
