A 29-year-old Port Orchard woman reported to police Aug. 4 of a suspicious incident the day before of a man wanting to touch her feet near the Bremerton ferry terminal.

The woman told an officer that she was at the fountains near the ferry terminal Aug. 3 when a man who was a stranger to her approached her and told her she had nice feet. She said he asked her if she could touch her feet and she replied, “No.” The woman said he continued to ask her if he could touch her feet and “seemed obsessed” with her feet.

The 29-year-old said at one point the man sat down next to her child’s towel and tried to touch her feet and she told him to leave her alone. She said he “got upset” and “stormed off.” There were several other children around playing and she thought it was a strange act. The woman described the man as in his 30s and “very large.” The report was for information.
