Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council seeks members

The Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council is looking for Kitsap County residents to serve on its citizens’ advisory boards. Board members review housing, capital improvement and planning applications and then make funding recommendations for the allocation of Community Development Block Grants and HOME Investment Partnership federal funds.

Potential members are sought who have experience in construction, project management, mortgage lending and housing and economic development. Additional qualifications may include a background working with community service providers in the capacity of employee, volunteer, board member or consumer with grant administration and grant writing experience combined with knowledge of HUD regulations.

Applications are due immediately. For more information, visit and click on ‘current opportunities’. Email Rebecca Pirtle, Volunteer Services Coordinator, at or call 360-337-4650.
