The total has almost reached $1,000 as the Patriot’s readers have answered the call to action to help the Stevenson quintuplets finish their home.

The confusion surrounding where to send donations has finally been cleared up, so let’s keep the momentum going.

Each donation will continue being listed on the front page instead of the editorial page as a way to thank each and every one who chips in to make the Stevensons’ dream come true.

Special thanks goes to Heather from Pages Books for sponsoring a quint fundraiser on Feb. 23 and to Joan Williams for helping with the quints’ laundry.

Checks should be made payable to Quint Foundation.

Donations can be received at the Bremerton Patriot, CK Reporter, Kitsap Credit Union or West Sound Bank.

You can visit the quints online at www.stevensonquints.com

The donations through Thursday morning:

• $50 Georgia Deem

• $20 Megan Hastings Organyzdesignz

• $50 Mary Peterson

• $5 Anonymous

• $100 Beverly Riddell

• $25 Jerry and Gloria Engen

Total as of Jan. 24: $250. Running total: $990.
