What a difference a week makes as the total for the Editor’s Challenge more than doubled since Jan. 24 as one large donor stepped up to the plate to help the Stevenson quintuplets.

The total now sits at $2,140 as the Patriot’s readers have answered the call to action to help the Stevenson quintuplets finish their home.

Every little bit whether it’s $5 or 25 cents will go a long way to making the Stevensons’ dream a reality.

Each donation will continue being listed on the front page instead of the editorial page as a way to thank each and every one who chips in to make the Stevensons’ dream come true.

Special thanks goes to Heather from Pages Books for sponsoring a quint fundraiser on Feb. 23 and to Joan Williams for helping with the quints’ laundry.

Checks should be made payable to Quint Foundation.

Donations can be received at Kitsap Credit Union or West Sound Bank.

You can visit the quints online at www.stevensonquints.com

Here are the donations through Thursday morning:

• $1,000 Anonymous

• $100 Anne, David, Rebecca and Ben Goodwin

• $50 George and Rhoda Gage

Total as of Jan. 24: $1,150. Running total: $2,140.
