The following students were selected to represent Bremerton as exchange students to Bremerton’s Sister City, Kure, Japan: Bradly Hammond, junior, Central Kitsap High School; Kimberly Huesmann, senior, Bremerton High School/OC Running Start; and Rebecca Campbell, junior, Olympic High School

The students will be in Kure for one month this summer. This is the 39th year Bremerton has exchanged students with Kure. The Bremerton Central Lions Club sponsors the program.

Three students from Kure will be in Bremerton for one month this summer.

They will arrive approximately July 20 and depart on Aug. 20. Anyone interested in being a host to a Japanese student call Elaine Valencia in the Bremerton Mayor’s office at (360) 473-5266.
