Beginning May 13, the Port of Bremerton will hold one of its two regular business meetings each month in the evening.

In an effort to provide an evening time to better involve the citizens of the Port district and other interested parties, the Port’s Board of Commissioners approved changing the time of its first business meeting of the month to 7 p.m. (formerly held at 4 p.m.) on the second Tuesday of each month. The second business meeting, which includes a study session, will continue to be held at 10?a.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

All three commissioners, Cheryl Kincer, Bill Mahan and Larry Stokes were united in their endorsement of evening meetings and extended an open invitation for the public to join them at their first evening meeting on May 13 in the terminal building conference room at Bremerton National Airport.
