Red Cross opens shelter for Bremerton fire victims

The American Red Cross Serving King & Kitsap Counties has opened a shelter for Bremerton apartment fire victims at Community of Christ at Memorial Lutheran Church at 916 Veneta Avenue in Bremerton.

Mid-morning today, a fire destroyed several units at an apartment complex located at the 100 block of State Avenue in Bremerton. In the coming days, the Red Cross will provide shelter, food, clothes and other emergency relief to affected residents.
