Kitsap County Commissioners to meet Monday

A regular session of the Kitsap County Commission will convene at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the commission chamber of the courthouse at 619 Division St., in Port Orchard.

On the agenda for action by the commission is the creation of the Animal Control Citizens Advisory Committee.

The commission will also consider the appointments of Kevin Mooney-Himmel and Tracy Flood as the at-large representatives to the Council for Human Rights.

Commissioners will also discuss a contract with Pacific Northwest Forensic Pathologists for services for the county coroner's office. The three-year contract at $522,000 will be paid from the coroner's autopsy fund.

There is a public comment time at the end of the meeting.
