Bremerton city council race results announced

Unofficial election results have been released from the Kitsap County Auditor's office and show that Adam Brockus and Jerry McDonald will advance to the general election for the District 3 seat on the Bremerton city council.

In the city council District 5 race, Dino Davis and Deirdre McKeel will advance to the general election in November.

Brockus received 39 percent of the vote to McDonald's 34. The third candidate in the race, Michael Strube, received 25 percent of the vote.

In the district 5 race, Davis got 52 percent to McKeel's 34 percent. The third candidate Keith Ranburger, who withdrew early-on in the race received 11 percent.
