The USS Bridge returns to Naval Station Bremerton’s Pier Bravo May 28 after a six-month deployment to the North Arabian Sea in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The four-year-old ship, which carried a crew of 572 enlisted personnel, traveled the equivalent of three times around the globe.

More than 500 people, including wives, the Navy Band Northwest, cheerleaders and Navy officials gathered to welcome the crew. During the last deployment, the ship completed 177 “alongside replenishments” for 62 ships, transferred 34 million gallons of fuel and 10,000 pallets of food.
