The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office says a man who is wanted on suspicion of armed robbery is on the run from sheriff’s deputies and detectives.

Shelton resident Jason Lee Longshore, 31, is the second of two wanted suspects in a home invasion robbery that occurred at a Central Kitsap residence near Keyport during the late evening hours of Sunday, April 20. Longshore is 5’11”, 150 pounds and has black colored hair and brown colored eyes. Police don't know what kind of vehicle Longshore may be driving.

Police say that at approximately 11 p.m. this past Sunday, two suspects entered a house in the 1400 block of Tagholm Road. At the time, five adults were inside the residence. The two suspects were armed with semi-automatic handguns. While pointing their guns at persons inside the house, the two suspects demanded money.

The homeowner, a 51 year-old man, was inside a bedroom. The first suspect forcibly entered the bedroom, took a significant amount of money and other personal items. During this process the suspect assaulted the homeowner. When the homeowner attempted to follow the two suspects out of the house, the first suspect sprayed him with pepper spray. The suspects were last seen heading southbound on Brownsville Highway NE in a two-door 1993 Acura Integra.

Acting on criminal intelligence provided by sheriff’s detectives, Bremerton police patrol officers located and arrested the first suspect just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday at a residence in the 900 block of North Lafayette Avenue in Bremerton. The Acura was found at the scene and impounded as evidence.

The first suspect, Jacob Lewis Dubek, 29, was booked into jail on a warrant of arrest for robbery in the first degree with bail set at $100,000.

Another occupant of that residence, a 24 year-old Bremerton man, was arrested by Bremerton police and booked into jail for rendering criminal assistance. His bail was set at $5,000.

This investigation remains open. Persons with information concerning the whereabouts of Jason Lee Longshore are asked to contact Detective Chad Birkenfeld at 360-337-5619, or Kitsap County Central Communications (9-1-1 dispatch) at 360-308-5400. Those wishing to remain anonymous may contact Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
