Stennis sailor arrested after breaking into church

A female sailor, 22, called 911 on Sunday telling the dispatcher she was "an intoxicated 21-year-old Irish female," according to Kitsap County Sheriff's Office charging documents.

The sailor, slurring her words, told the dispatcher she was near GracePoint Church. She also mentioned she was inside the church and holding the door open. When deputies arrived, they found the glass front door broken. The church's facility director arrived on scene, claiming he did not know the woman and she had no right to break into the church. Video footage showed the woman wrapping her belt around her fist before punching through the glass of the front door to enter.

Her blood alcohol content level was .232, according to deputy reports. She was booked on burglary in the second degree.
