Man shows gun when asked to pay cab fare

A Bremerton Police officer responded to a call on Saturday of a robbery near Fourth Street near Naval Avenue. According to a probable cause statement, a man had displayed a fire arm and refused to pay cab fare when dropped off. The cab driver noted he “felt in danger when he was shown the firearm,” according to documents.

The Bremerton man, 26, was charged with robbery in the first degree and his bail was set at $50,000.
