The Bremerton School District Board of Directors is slated to meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the district's administrative offices on Marion Avenue to take another step forward in the search for a new superintendent.

The board will meet in an executive session to discuss the selection of an outside superintendent search agency before making the official announcement sometime Thursday afternoon.

The agency will work with the board and the district's superintendent search task force as the board hopes to have a new superintendent in place by its May 7 meeting.
