Citizens in Bremerton are organizing a tea party rally at the Bremerton Boardwalk at 6 p.m. tomorrow, April 15 to let government representatives know people are taxed enough already.

Rally participants will be bringing their flags and signs to protest the spending of trillions of dollars. More than 1,500 cities are hosting tea parties.

A petition will be available which will be sent to the president. Participants also will be collecting tea to send to the governor. Donation boxes will be available for nonperishable food items for local food banks as well.

It will be a peaceful, non-partisan protest against taxes. Campaigning, racially inappropriate slogans, anything that suggests violence or unlawful activity, and/or partisan slogans are not welcome.
