Kitsap Regional Library looking for community input
September 13, 2009 · Updated 11:20 AM
Kitsap Regional Library is now in the process of creating the strategic plan for 2010-15 and would like public input.
Each branch library is hosting a community forum where staff is soliciting public ideas about what kinds of programs and services KRL should focus on in the future.
Every five years, KRL creates a strategic plan to guide decision-making and budget priorities. A good library strategic plan assesses community and patron needs, library resources, services and programs, and asks what challenges and opportunities lie ahead.
Meetings will be held:
Tuesday, Sept. 15, 6:30 p.m. - Silverdale Library
Wednesday, Sept 16, 6:30 p.m. - Manchester Library
Thursday, Sept. 17, 6:30 p.m. - Kingston Library
Wednesday, Sept. 23, 6:30 p.m. - Bainbridge Library
Thursday, Sept. 24, 6:30 p.m. - Little Boston
Tuesday, Sept. 29, 6:30 p.m. - Port Orchard
Wednesday, Sept. 30, 6:30 p.m. - Poulsbo
Please contact your local branch library for more information.
The public is still invited to participate in KRL's online survey about library services and patron needs. You can access the survey here.
