Bremerton voters saying no to car tab fee

A large percentage of Bremerton voters do not want the $30 car tab fee increase, according to preliminary election results.

Initial returns show more than 69 percent of Bremerton residents voted no on the Bremerton Transportation Proposition 1, with only 30 percent voting yes.

Money generated from Proposition 1 was intended to fund street repairs and maintenance.
