Legislators invite public to town halls as 2010 session nears

The 23rd District legislative delegation invites residents to two upcoming public forums as the Legislature prepares to convene in January for the 2010 session.

A town hall meeting tomorrow is expected to generate discussion on a range of issues, from the economy and transportation to the environment and education, among many others. A Dec. 7 town hall is focused on health care issues and will include perspective from legislative health care leaders Rep. Eileen Cody and Sen. Karen Keiser. Questions can be directed to Rep. The forums are free and open to the general public:

Location: Poulsbo Fire House, 911 NE Liberty Road, Poulsbo

Health Care Forum

Date: Monday, Dec. 7

Time: 7-9 p.m.

Location: Olympic College (North-South Conference Room), 1600 Chester Ave., Bremerton
