Four pounds of marijuana found in Kitsap Lake trash

A Bremerton City Parks worker found four pounds of marijuana leaves Jan. 22 while collecting garbage in the Kitsap Lake area.

The 45-year-old parks worker reported to an officer at about 5:45 p.m. that he found six or seven suspicious black garbage bags from the park at Kitsap Lake on Price Road. He found styrofoam packing material, marijuana leaves and red pellets in the bags, according to Bremerton Police Department reports.
