Three people were taken to Harrison Medical Center Friday afternoon following a five-car wreck on McWilliams Road in Bremerton.

A Poulsbo man driving too fast in a Ford F350 pickup truck hit the rear end of a northbound Toyota Corolla while the Corolla was stopped at a red light at 1:51 p.m., according to Washington State Patrol reports.

The collision set off a chain reaction, causing the Corolla to hit the car behind it, a BMW convertible, which hit a Ford Focus. The Focus then hit the next car in line, according to reports.

Charges are pending, but neither alcohol nor drugs contributed to the crash.
