A team of inspectors will be evaluating Naval Hospital Bremerton and its branch clinics for compliance to national standards.

Inspectors from the Joint Commission and Medical Inspector General will conduct surveys from May 24 to May 27 at the Bremerton campus as well as the branch clinics at Bangor, Everett and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

The commission accredits nearly 16,000 health care organizations in the U.S. and elsewhere.

Patients and staff members may contact surveyors and request an interview. To make an appointment, call (360) 475-4706. Concerns can also be reported to the Joint Commission Office by calling 1-800-994-6601 or by e-mail to complaint@jointcommission.org or navymedighotline@med.navy.mil.
