East Bremerton robbery suspect in custody in California

The suspect in an East Bremerton bank robbery last month was arrested in California Friday.
Scott Richard Morgan, 29, was arrested by Santa Cruz police officers and is being held on a warrant for second-degree robbery, according to a statement from the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office.
The robbery took place at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 21 at the Bank of America branch at 1600 NE Riddell Road in East Bremerton. Witnesses said Morgan approached a teller and handed over a note demanding money, according to the sheriff's office. The note read that he had a gun, though no gun was shown. Morgan took an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen headed northbound on foot.
Morgan is awaiting extradition to Kitsap County.
Morgan has previous addresses in South Kitsap, Bremerton and East Bremerton, according to the sheriff's office.
