No injuries when Shoreline man sideswipes trooper's cruiser outside Bremerton

No injuries were reported when a Washington State Patrol trooper's cruiser was struck on State Highway 3 Tuesday.

The fender bender between the 2007 Chevrolet Impala and a 1991 Ford Explorer driven by a 51-year-old Shoreline man was reported at 4:33 p.m. near Navy Yard Highway, according to a statement.

The name of the trooper was not listed.

Both vehicles were traveling north on the highway when the Ford merged left and into the trooper.

The Shoreline man was cited for second-degree negligent driving.
