Pilot uninjured despite rough landing at Bremerton Airport
June 16, 2010 · 4:09 PM
An airplane landed on its belly and skidded for about 50 feet Wednesday in a botched landing at the Bremerton National Airport.
When the pilot of a Beechcraft Bonanza tried to land his plane at about 3:20 p.m., the landing gear failed to extend, causing the rough landing, according to a Port of Bremerton statement. Bremerton Police and aid cars responded to the airport and the pilot was not injured.
There was no further information about the pilot Wednesday afternoon.
