Lent declares herself victor; Maupin has yet to concede.
In the results posted Friday afternoon Powers had 1,191 votes (49.96 percent) to 1,175 (49.29 for Lucarelli. About 900 votes are left to be counted.
As of 8:15 p.m, Horton led each of her opponents by at least 10 points with 49.6 percent to Roger Zabinski’s 28.4 percent and Gene Hart’s 20.3 percent.
Cynthia Large, Christianne Martin, Scott Rahm and J. David Rubie met at the Bremerton Area Chamber of Commerce-hosted Eggs and Issues forum Tuesday to allow residents a chance to ask questions about their individual qualifications and intentions if chosen.
Questions spanned topics from plans to generate additional resources to the future fate of extracurricular activities.
