Issues with the MAP test

Wes Morrow reported that the MAP test isn’t so controversial on this side of the Sound.

Just because teachers here are not ready to go to the extremes that they are at Garfield does not mean that it’s okay. There are so many issues that teachers here are concerned about — most recently school reconfiguration and the proposed AP program grant — that it’s hard to know what to focus on. The MAP is just one more example of the top down management that is frustrating many.
