Washington State Ferries

How can Bremerton be confused for Bainbridge?

I put this off for years. Many times I have gone from Seattle to Bremerton and clearly said Bremerton.

Often the tickets read Bainbridge Island. I don’t understand how Bremerton can be confused for Bainbridge Island — the agent is able to tell us which lane for Bremerton.

In view of the recent “ferry system” attempt to eliminate services to Bremerton, maybe this is part of the system’s “long-range plan” to discredit Bremerton by saying Bremerton does not have the ridership Bainbridge has.

Folks, it does not take a rocket scientist to know that if you punch Bainbridge Island versus Bremerton, Bainbridge Island will show more ridership. Evidently the “ferry system” tells the mindless agents that Bainbridge Island and Bremerton are the same.
